Stained Glass is a wonderful art form and many people can be successful at it. As we begin to teach a new student, we introduce them to the techniques of glass cutting. Those who demonstrate an aptitude to this new skill are encouraged to continue. | ||
| Cost is
$150 for six stained glass sessions. Each session is 2 hours
long and with the course of instructions come supplies
(including $20 of solder and $6 of copper foil and
most of the glass) for a first panel and a ($20)
brass handled cutter. We
teach one on one and will arrange to meet with you at
the times that are best for you. One student was visiting from
Washington recently and completed her first panel and all six
class sessions in under a week! Other students have
wanted to come on alternating nights. The point of it
all is to help you to get in and be successful at
building your stained glass art. We do not teach young
children, glass is often sharp and we like kids, so we
don't teach them. Teenagers (under 18) can take the
class if they have a parent with them. If a parent
(or a spouse) wants to take the course as well, we offer a 50% discount
for their classes.
DON'T BUY SUPPLIES BEFORE COMING TO CLASS!!! We supply what you'll need, we also sell additional tools and materials at a lower cost than you'll find them elsewhere. Dress appropriately (no open toed shoes) Long sleeves and high neck shirts will protect you from glass bits. |
